Linux下MySQL的使用

操作系統(tǒng)：CentOS 5.5

（1）安裝MySQL

在該操作系統(tǒng)上安裝MySQL最方便的方法是使用yum進(jìn)行安裝：

[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# yum install mysql-server(有時(shí)網(wǎng)絡(luò)比較慢的話，會(huì)花費(fèi)較多的時(shí)間，如何配置本地yum源的方法，我將在另一篇blog上做詳細(xì)的介紹)

（2）查看MySQL是否啟動(dòng)-
 

安裝完MySQL以后，可以查看一下當(dāng)前mysql是否已經(jīng)啟動(dòng)：

[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# netstat -tl | grep mysql

tcp        0      0 *:mysql                     *:*                         LISTEN

如果是像上面這樣的輸出，說明mysql已經(jīng)成功啟動(dòng)了。如果沒有輸出，說明mysql還沒有啟動(dòng)。
（3）啟動(dòng)MySQL
可以使用如下命令啟動(dòng)MySQL.
[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# /etc/init.d/mysqld start
Initializing MySQL database:  Installing MySQL system tables...

To start mysqld at boot time you have to copy
support-files/mysql.server to the right place for your system
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h localhost.localdomain password 'new-password'
Alternatively you can run:
/usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation
which will also give you the option of removing the test
databases and anonymous user created by default.  This is
strongly recommended for production servers.

You can start the MySQL daemon with:
cd /usr ; /usr/bin/mysqld_safe &
You can test the MySQL daemon with mysql-test-run.pl
cd mysql-test ; perl mysql-test-run.pl

（4）設(shè)置root密碼
首次進(jìn)入mysql是不需要密碼的，
[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# mysql -uroot
Welcome to the MySQL monitor.  Commands end with ; or \g.
Your MySQL connection id is 2
Server version: 5.0.77 Source distribution
Type 'help;' or '\h' for help. Type '\c' to clear the buffer.
mysql> Bye
使用mysqladmin設(shè)置root密碼:
[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# mysqladmin -uroot password yourpassword
重新登錄
[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# mysql -uroot -p
Enter password:
